Enjoy this photograph featuring NCAA player Reggie Brooks of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. A great collector's piece for all Notre Dame Fighting Irish fans! Lou Holtz, back in 1986, decided that his Notre Dame football players needed a bit of inspiration as they took to the field. Holtz had a sign crafted that read, Play Like a Champion Today. The sign, bright gold with dark blue lettering, was positioned above a stairway outside the Notre Dame locker room, and beneath another, larger sign listing all of the Fighting Irish's national championships. And soon a tradition emerged: players tapped the Play Like a Champion Today sign for luck on the way to the field. This Play Like a Champion Today photo was hand signed by former Notre Dame star Reggie Brooks. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
